Who we are
Bluebird Untamed was born from the edges of challenge, the quiet strength found in canyon walls, and the deep belief that doing hard things reveals who we really are.
I’m 48, and I’ve spent nearly 30 of those years in education — as a teacher, an administrator, a mentor — guiding others while quietly finding my own grounding in the red rocks of southern Utah. The desert has always been my place of refuge and return. It’s where I go to breathe, to heal, to remember what matters. Reading, writing, wandering — sometimes with others, often alone — have always been part of that rhythm. So have Diet Dr Pepper, sun on my skin, and the soul-filling call of the canyon wren.
After navigating my own hard seasons, I created Bluebird Untamed as a space for women to explore both outer landscapes and inner ones. To gather, reflect, and rise. To strip away what’s not theirs, and step fully into what is. This is a space for strength — not the loud kind, but the kind built quietly through effort, truth, and showing up again and again.
We don’t have to do it alone. We weren’t meant to.
Welcome to the wild. I’m so glad you’re here.
